Alien Activity Report 2....

Well, the "Mothership" is in high gear. They seem to be doing and saying anything to turn people's attention away from their loss Monday night. The crowd, that they claim to know so well, was decidedly against them. So what's an alien to do?

Misdirection! Of course.

The conversation on the bridge must have been something along the lines of:

Capt. Sparky: What are we going to do? We are always right!

Lt. Dutch Boy: Let's take a shot at former Com. Nadine Burns. That's sure to take people's minds off the ass whooping we received Monday night.

Capt. Sparky: I'm not sure that will be enough. The "citizens' really went the other way on this one. We even told them what to think! We used our pseudoscience and crystal ball for Christ sakes.

Lt. Dutch Boy: In that case, for good measure, lets accuse the city of misinforming the public. That's sure to get people talking about something else.

Capt. Sparky: Oh, and by the way, next time spell the damn word right!
